American Staffing Association Honor Highlights Top U.S. Staffing Employees
FREDERICKSBURG, VA, September 16, 2026 – Matern Staffing is proud to announce that Stephanie Jerrell, a Brand Content Specialist from Fredericksburg, VA, has been named the American Staffing Association’s National Staffing Employee of the Year All-Star in the Professional/Managerial sector.
After graduating in May 2025 with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Communications and Digital Studies, Stephanie connected with Matern Staffing and began a summer PR/Communications internship with Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. Her initiative and strong performance quickly earned the team’s trust and expanded responsibilities across social media, internal communications, email campaigns, and other marketing initiatives. By the end of the internship, Stephanie had turned the opportunity into a full-time marketing career with REC, where she now supports the cooperative’s brand and multi-channel marketing efforts.
The National Staffing Employee of the Year program recognizes the most outstanding temporary and contract workers in the country. In 2025, U.S. staffing companies employed 9.5 million temporary and contract workers, with Stephanie among just five sector All-Stars recognized.
