Part-Time Yard Custodian

Matern Staffing is hiring a Part-Time Yard Custodian (job order 4022) for a building materials company in Fredericksburg, VA. As a Part-Time Yard Custodian, you’ll help keep the outdoor yard clean, organized, and safe by maintaining materials and work areas. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is looking for a hands-on position. 

Pay: 

• $17–18 per hour 

Schedule: 

• MWF 7AM – 4PM 

• This is a seasonal position expected to end in late November or early December, with the potential to be extended.  

What You’ll Do:

• Clean and organize the outdoor yard  

• Keep materials and storage areas neat and orderly  

• Remove debris and help maintain a clean, safe work environment  

• Assist with general yard maintenance and housekeeping tasks  

What You’ll Need: 

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions  

• Willingness to perform physically active work throughout the day  

• Steel-toe boots required  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic 

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
