Warehouse Receiving Specialist

Matern Staffing is hiring a skilled Warehouse Receiving Specialist for a tile manufacturing company in Doswell, VA. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and efficiency. 

Salary:

• $18 – 20/hr, based on experience 

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm 

What You’ll Do as a Warehouse Receiving Specialist:

• Unload, break down, and verify incoming shipments 
• Accurately record and process shipping discrepancies (errors, backorders) 
• Receive and put away returns and future orders 
• Restock and maintain organized bin locations within the warehouse 
• Assist with printing shipping labels (FedEx/UPS) and pulling purchase orders 
• Perform daily safety checks and uphold safety procedures 
• Operate stand-up reach trucks or forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse 

What You’ll Need as a Warehouse Receiving Specialist:

• Strong receiving and general warehouse experience 
• Forklift and/or stand-up reach truck proficiency 
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. regularly 
• Intermediate computer and typing skills (data entry, label printing, inventory systems) 
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail 
• Excellent organization and prioritization abilities 
• Positive, team-first attitude with a customer-oriented mindset 
• Steel-toe boots required
