Showroom Design Manufacturer
Matern Staffing is hiring a Material Handler for a growing global retail environment manufacturer in Fredericksburg, VA. In this hands-on role, you’ll support daily warehouse operations by maintaining organization, handling materials, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace.
You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly through accurate inventory, order picking, and efficient material movement. As a Material Handler, you’ll also operate a forklift to transport materials, helping ensure products are ready for production or shipment.
This is a contract-to-hire position with growth opportunities.
Pay:
$16.50/hr
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
What You’ll Do: 
- Pick, pull, and verify orders using pick lists and a forklift
- Load, unload, and move materials safely using equipment and by hand
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Accurately track and record inventory
- Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and shipment quality
- Package products securely and assist with basic assembly tasks
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and pick lists
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations, inventory, and receiving
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products and follow safety guidelines
