Matern Staffing is hiring an Experienced Forklift Operator (job id 3664) at a leading concrete manufacturer in Bowling Green, VA to safely transport materials. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in forklift operation.
Drive machines, transport materials, and support the country’s economic growth! As an Experienced Forklift Driver you’ll efficiently move the materials to ultimately ensure customer orders are accurate and on time!
Salary:
- $18.00/hour
Schedule:
- 2pm-12am, Monday thru Friday
What You’ll Do as a Forklift Driver:

Operate a forklift to move pallets and materials safely

Bag cement, shovel materials, and support plant operations

Work both indoors and outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment

Follow safety procedures and maintain an efficient work area
What You’ll Need as a Forklift Driver:
- High school diploma or GED, preferred

Strong forklift experience

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

Comfort working in hot, cold, and dusty conditions

Steel-toe boots/metatarsal shields and a strong commitment to safety
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check
