Meet Clarence. Clarence is a job seeker from the Roanoke area with an extensive background in building and equipment maintenance. He and his wife are empty nesters, so he was open to relocating and exploring new opportunities. Read on to learn more about Clarence’s career success story.

Clarence’s combination of building and equipment maintenance experience, Six Sigma Training, and professional writing skills immediately grabbed our attention! So, Glenda contacted him for an opportunity with our client who is building a state-of-the-art food manufacturing plant in Stafford, Virginia.

Relocation

Relocating can be exciting, but it can also be challenging. It could involve temporary housing, time away from loved ones, and a lot of back-and-forth travel. But Clarence was up for the challenge.

So, Clarence applied for the Maintenance Manager opportunity with our client and got the job!

Finding Career Success

Clarence is responsible for overseeing the facility’s production equipment and building maintenance. Basically, if something at the plant isn’t working, Clarence and his team troubleshoot and solve the problem. Since the plant is still in construction phase, he’s also able to apply his writing skills to documenting procedures and maintenance schedules.

Even though he splits his time between Stafford and Roanoke right now, he’s looking forward to building a house and settling down in the future.

Relocation, trust, and experience coming together – that’s Clarence’s story.
