Tiana Knewtson moved to Virginia 23 years ago after a journey across the U.S. Originally born in Wisconsin, she also lived in Michigan, Arkansas, Florida, and Oklahoma. Before joining Matern Staffing, she spent 12 rewarding years in private Christian education.

 

Tiana’s career path has always been driven by a passion for growth and excellence. Armed with a Master’s degree from the University of Tulsa, she brings a wealth of expertise in workforce planning, performance management, and compliance. At Matern Staffing she’s responsible for creating seamless recruitment processes, nurturing a supportive team environment, and fostering meaningful connections between candidates and clients. 

 

Outside of work, Tiana’s interests are as vibrant as her career. She’s a dedicated football fan, cheering for both the Green Bay Packers and the University of Michigan Wolverines. Her love for reading also stands out as she enjoys discussing great books with fellow readers. Her strong faith guides her principles and actions in both her personal and professional life. This foundation has been instrumental in shaping her approach to work and relationships. Tiana also looks forward to using her love for learning, relational approach, and strategic mindset as she strives for excellence at Matern Staffing.

 

When she’s not cheering on her favorite teams or lost in a good book, Tiana enjoys quality time with her family, including her two college-aged children at VTech (Go Hokies!), and her beloved pets—a dog and a cat. Tiana’s dynamic blend of professional experience, innate characteristics, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment makes her a valuable addition to the Matern Staffing team.
