Meet Jessica, an enthusiastic Administrative Support Specialist at Matern Staffing. Raised in Stafford, Virginia, Jessica has always been driven by a passion for learning new skills and helping others. Her journey with Matern Staffing began unexpectedly after she walked into the office looking for a summer manufacturing job. Instead, she received a call about an intern administrative opportunity, which she describes as a plot twist in a movie.

Since then, Jessica has earned her bachelor’s degree in communication and digital studies from the University of Mary Washington. Her time at Matern has been filled with growth, as she has taken on a variety of responsibilities, including scheduling interviews, guiding candidates through the hiring process, and supporting employees with paperwork completion. Jessica is proud to be the first face or voice many encounter and enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds.

Jessica has learned the importance of helping others find their path, which has become her true passion. She takes pride in the fact that Matern Staffing can provide job seekers with opportunities to get back on their feet. Now, as an Administrative Support Specialist, Jessica is excited to continue her journey at Matern, aiming to further expand her expertise and eventually become a Staffing Coordinator.
