Glenda Adams moved to the Fredericksburg area in 2004 after growing up and living in Annandale, VA. She built a successful career as a Business Analyst at Navy Mutual Aid Association, a non-profit military life insurance company, before joining Matern Staffing in 2022.

At Matern, Glenda interviews candidates to match them to open positions in order to find the job that best fits their needs. Glenda brings a wealth of business knowledge and experience to share with the recruitment and hiring industry. Her technical writing background, strong communication skills, and persistency forge a successful path for building relationships with clients, interviewing job seekers, and connecting with the community.

Glenda is a life-long believer and product of perseverance. After high school she attended a community college, but then stopped because full-time work took precedence. Years later, she returned to school, but due to circumstances out of her control she had to stop school again. Finally, 29 years after high school graduation, she proudly received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with Magna Cum Laude honors!

Glenda enjoys spending time with her husband in the Battlefield Corvette Club. It’s been a great way to meet people from the community and support activities that raise funds for local charities. She has four grown children and two spoiled French bulldogs and a cat that thinks he is a dog!
