Matern Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate (job id# 3708) for a tile manufacturing company in Doswell, VA. As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be responsible for pulling orders for customers. Your role is vital in maintaining the smooth flow of operations within a tile distributor’s warehouse, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
Salary:
- $17/hr
Schedule:
- 8am-5pm, Monday thru Friday
What You’ll Do as Warehouse Associate: 
- Locates the specified items within the warehouse based on the order details and uses powered stand-up reach trucks to retrieve the items safely
- Carefully packages items according to shipping requirements
- While pulling items, inspects them for any signs of damage, defects, or discrepancies
- Updates inventory records in the warehouse management system to reflect the items taken from stock
- Assists in loading outgoing shipments onto delivery trucks or unloading incoming inventory from suppliers
What You’ll Need as a Warehouse Associate:
- Proven warehouse experience in receiving/order pulling
- Strong communication skills for collaborating effectively with teammates, customers, suppliers, etc
- Strong attention to detail with great follow-through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness
- Must wear steel-toe boots
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach, excellent time management, and prioritization skills
- Routinely lifts heavy products
- Dependability
