Matern Staffing is hiring a Material Handler in Stafford, VA to support production and shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in final product handling.
This is an entry-level position with training provided. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, can follow written and verbal instructions, and is eager to learn shipping label creation. Pay:
- $18 per hour
Schedule:
- Initial training from 9 AM – 2 PM, with regular hours Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM – 4 PM
What You’ll Do:
What You’ll Do:- Clean, label, and pack products for shipment
- Inspect products for accuracy and catch any errors before final processing
- Follow written and verbal instructions for handling and packaging
- Assist in creating product labels using a computer
- Work efficiently to meet the daily shipping deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to support smooth operations
- Maintain packing material inventory levels and assist with placing orders
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn for shipping label creation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, though most items are lightweight
- Reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
