Matern Staffing is hiring an Electronics Assembler (job order 4021) in Stafford, VA to support mechanical assembly and hand soldering of electronic components, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
This is a detail-oriented, hands-on production role focused on precision assembly and soldering. The ideal candidate has experience with electronic assembly, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Pay:
- $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
What You’ll Do: 
- Mechanical assembly using hand tools according to work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Hand soldering of electrical components
- Read, comprehend, and follow manufacturing procedures
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
What You’ll Need:
- Experience in mechanical assembly using hand tools
- Experience with hand soldering of electrical components
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot even minor defects or irregularities
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Experience with IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies with Space Addendum, preferred
