Business Development Representative

Matern Staffing is hiring a Business Development Representative with a material handling company in Bridgeport, WV. As the Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving parts and service business growth by acquiring new customers, selling service agreements, conducting operator training, and renting equipment, while also fostering strong relationships with existing clients.  

The Business Development Representative will optimize relationship building and drive to hit sales goals to ensure client satisfaction/retention while securing new business. You’ll be a trusting partner with customers as you understand their needs and deliver high-quality solutions. 

Salary:

• $50,000 base + commission

Schedule:

• 8am-5pm, Monday thru Friday 

What You’ll Do: 

• Cold call and actively pursue new customer business to drive parts and service growth
• Sell preventive service agreements by presenting value and benefits to customers
• Conduct operator training for material handling equipment to ensure proper usage and maintenance
• Manage and coordinate the rental process for equipment, addressing customer needs and ensuring proper equipment maintenance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention

What You’ll Need: 

• Previous B2B sales experience 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills 
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools 
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
