Concrete Manufacturer
Matern Staffing is hiring a Welder at a top concrete manufacturing facility in Rock Hill, SC. As a Welder you’re a specialized creator! You’ll weld frames together for concrete panels, meeting strength and durability needs of customers’ solutions.
Salary:
- $22-$24/hr
Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday, 7am-4pm with OT potential
What You’ll Do as a Welder:
What You’ll Do as a Welder:-
Assists with the lay out, fitting, and welding of fabricated metal components

Assists with the setup of equipment and welds parts, using TIG or gas shielded TIG, welding equipment.

Under direction, repairs and reworks non-conformances

Assembles, fits, and tacks weld parts per blueprint

Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape

Deburrs or grinds parts

Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
What You’ll Need as a Welder:

Mechanical knowledge and curiosity to understand how parts fit and work together

3-5 years of welding experience and knowledge

Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs

Must be able to work from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.

Must be able to read a tape measure

High School diploma/ GED
-
Vocational Certification Training/Welding Certification (preferred)

Ability to work independently
