Matern Staffing is hiring a Welder to support a concrete precast manufacturer in Rock Hill, SC.
As a Welder for a precast concrete manufacturer, you’re a crucial part of delivering high-quality concrete products and peace of mind to customers. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Welder with framing and carpentry experience to join our client’s team. This position is ideal for individuals who have framing and carpentry experience and are eager to learn and develop new skills in the concrete manufacturing industry.
Salary:
- $19-$20/hr
Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday, 7am-4pm with OT potential
What You’ll Do as a Welder:
What You’ll Do as a Welder:- Build and assemble concrete formwork and rebar cages according to specifications
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints to ensure accuracy in production
- Take precise measurements and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
What You’ll Need as a Welder:

Previous welding experience and knowledge
- Experience in carpentry, framing, or a related field
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Skilled in accurate measurement and attention to detail
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Positive self-starter with a proactive approach, excellent time management, and prioritization skills
- Willingness to adapt and learn new skills or processes
