IT asset disposition and recycling company
Matern Staffing is hiring Temporary Moving Associates for a special project with an IT asset disposition company. Are you ready to roll up your sleeves for a short-term project? You’ll play a key role in helping a client decommission old electronic and computer equipment at their office site in Richmond, VA.
This is a short-term project that runs from Monday, December 9th thru Friday, December 13th. The Temporary Moving Associates will be responsible for packing and loading equipment from an office building onto trucks. You must be dependable, punctual and committed to completing the project.
Salary:
- $17/hr
Schedule:
- 7am-3:30pm, Monday thru Friday
What You’ll Do:
What You’ll Do:- Carefully pack old electronic and computer equipment into boxes
- Label, organize, and securely prepare boxes for transport
- Move boxes between floors, using provided equipment when necessary
- Load packed boxes onto trucks for safe transport
- Follow detailed instructions to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
What You’ll Need:
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable navigating stairs and elevators while carrying equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on organization
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing the project
- Team-oriented with a willingness to take direction and work collaboratively
