Matern Staffing is hiring Production Workers (job id 3181) to support the door building process at a roofing and building materials manufacturer in Culpeper, Va. We have openings during daytime shifts, Monday thru Friday.
As Production Workers for a roofing and building manufacturer, you’re a crucial part of delivering high-quality products and peace of mind to customers. You’ll be a builder and analyzer during the door manufacturing process.
Salary & Schedule:
- $15/hr
- Monday thru Friday 6am-2:30pm start time
What You’ll Do as Production Workers:
What You’ll Do as Production Workers:- Performs one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly or sub-assembly line to produce building material components or millwork products
- Review quality assurance in products and alert necessary staff
- Assembles millwork products such as doors
- Closely follow directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines
- Inserts and positions materials for clamping, splicing, fitting parts and use of both hand and power tools
What You’ll Need as Production Workers:
- Positive self-starter with a proactive approach, excellent time management, and prioritization skills
- Woodworking, carpentry or construction experience a plus
- Ability to operate power tools such as saws and nail guns, tape measures, and hand tools
- Attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment
- Strong calculation and measuring skills
- Willingness to adapt and learn new skills or processes
