As a Part-Time Admin Assistant you calmly and efficiently greet customers and process clerical requests to keep the office running smoothly. You will be the first person the guests see and the lasting vision when they have exceptional customer service over the phone or in-person.  

We are hiring an Admin Assistant (Job ID #1707) at a financial planning business in Downtown Fredericksburg, VA. This is a part-time position from 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday


  • $15-$16/hr

Administrative Assistant completing clerical tasks

What You’ll Do as Part-Time Admin Assistant:

  • Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude over the phone and in-person
  • Check and promptly respond to voicemail messages
  • Fax, scan, and file documents
  • Create and update documents, spreadsheets, and correspond to email

What You’ll Need as Part-Time Admin Assistant:

  • Strong attention to detail with great follow-through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness 
  • Ability to use word processing, email, and spreadsheet applications
  • Friendly and positive personality for greeting customers and clients and collaborating with teammates in the office
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills for communicating effectively with teammates and customers
  • Self-starter who is proactive and has excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to pass background, credit check


  • 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday
