Matern Staffing is hiring a General Laborer (job id 2773) to support a concrete precast manufacturer in Rock Hill, SC.
As a General Laborer for a concrete manufacturer, you’re a crucial part of delivering high-quality concrete products and peace of mind to customers. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and develop new skills in the concrete manufacturing industry.
Salary:
- $18-$20/hr
Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday, 7am until 3:30pm with OT potential
What You’ll Do as General Laborer:
What You’ll Do as General Laborer:- Utilize tape measurers to accurately lay cages for concrete structures
- Assist in tying rebar and mesh to reinforce concrete
- Perform finishing tasks including troweling and stamping large pieces of concrete to meet our quality standards
- Work closely with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
What You’ll Need as General Laborer:
- No prior experience required
- Must own and wear steel-toed boots for safety on the job site
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs with repetitive bending and kneeling
- Positive self-starter with a proactive approach, excellent time management, and prioritization skills
- Strong calculation and measuring skills
- Willingness to adapt and learn new skills or processes
- All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) including vests, hats, and safety glasses provided
