Matern Staffing is hiring a General Laborer for a wall barrier engineering and manufacturing facility in Spotsylvania, VA. In this role, you’ll play a key part in producing high-quality perimeter products by supporting daily plant operations and assisting with a variety of hands-on tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and effective time management will help you contribute to efficient production and reliable results.
Salary:
$16/hr
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with overtime potential from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Every other Saturday, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
What You’ll Do: 
- Packs materials into shipments for delivery
- Completes general maintenance, housekeeping, and landscaping in and around the factory
- Operates factory machines and various power tools to complete general tasks
- Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical knowledge and curiosity to understand how parts fit and work together
- Great collaboration and communication skills for understanding and completing tasks independently or with teammates and managers
- Proactively approaches situations with excellent time management, problem solving, and prioritization skills
- Comes to work prepared, focused and dedicated
