We are hiring a Forklift Driver (job id #3711) at a national building materials supplier in their Culpeper, Va location. This is a day shift position with hours 6am-2:30pm.
Drive machines, transport materials, and support the country’s economic growth! As an experienced Forklift Driver you’ll use your background to efficiently pull materials and orders and move the materials to ensure they’re reading for shipping.
Salary:
- $16-$20/hr
First Shift Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday, 6am-2:30pm
What You’ll Do as 1st Shift Forklift Driver:
What You’ll Do as 1st Shift Forklift Driver:- Operate forklift truck to select goods from warehouse based on pull sheet
- Verify orders selected correctly match invoice
- Bundle lumber together
- Safely transport orders for shipping preparation
- Input inventory records and transactions into warehouse database and route paperwork accordingly
- Ensure product/material inventory levels and locations are correct
What You’ll Need as 1st Shift Forklift Driver:
- Previous forklift experience required
- Lumber experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with great follow-through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness
- Proactively approaches situations with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Enjoys learning how things work and has a curiosity for brainstorming process improvements and finding/implementing solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals across all levels of an organization
