Matern Staffing is hiring a Shipping Specialist (Job Order 3852) to support the busy e-commerce operations of a growing organization in Fredericksburg, VA. In this hands-on role, you’ll carefully pack and prepare a variety of unique items for shipment, ensuring order accuracy, safe delivery, and on-time processing in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will play a key role in keeping shipping operations running smoothly.
Pay:
$16.00 /hr
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week (occasional weekends)
What You’ll Do: 
- Pack, wrap, and secure orders to prevent damage during transit
- Weigh, measure, label, and verify shipments for accuracy
- Inspect items and stage completed packages for pickup
- Move materials using carts and pallet jacks while maintaining an organized workspace
- Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying conditions and consistent movement
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills for labeling and shipment processing
- Reliable with ability to meet productivity goals
- Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift 50 lbs
- Warehouse, shipping, or fulfillment experience a plus
