Matern Staffing is hiring a Production Worker (First Shift) (job id #4166) at a circuits manufacturing plant in Fredericksburg, Va. For Production First Shift, you’ll build highly specialized circuits to support customers in the global aerospace and defense industries. The Production Worker uses important tools and follows detailed instructions support the circuit board manufacturing process, ensuring precise and efficient production.
Salary:
- $18/hr
- This is for first shift: 7am-3:45pm, Monday thru Friday
What You’ll Do as Production First Shift:
- Operates machines and tools based on guidelines
- Follows area operating procedures and traveler instructions
- Ensures final product meets quality and specifications
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Use computer system to review information about products
- Complete preventative maintenance on machines as needed
What You’ll Need as Production First Shift:
- Good computer skills and ability to read detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail with great follow-through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness
- Active listener who collaborates effectively with teammates, always ready to step in to help
- Proactively approaches tasks with focus and determination, and reliability
- Experience such as operating CNC equipment, conveyor process lines, batch tanks or imaging equipment is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and write English
- Printed circuit board, solar, plating facility, semiconductor, circuit board assembly or other manufacturing experience preferred but not required
