Matern Staffing is hiring a Parts Specialist with a material handling company in Chesapeake, VA. As the Parts Specialist, you’ll put your customer service and technical skills to work by supporting parts sales, inventory management, and technician needs. You’ll be a trusted partner to customers and the service team, helping ensure the right parts are available when and where they’re needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Salary:
- $23-$24/hr

What You’ll Do:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing parts and accessories based on their needs
- Receive, organize, and deliver parts to customers and technicians efficiently
- Provide prompt, in-store customer service and resolve parts-related inquiries
- Support technicians with timely parts delivery to reduce service delays
- Maintain an organized, clean parts department and assist with inventory control
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma (additional parts or inventory training a plus)
- Experience in parts sales, ideally in material handling or similar industries
- Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with inventory systems and parts cataloging
- Team-oriented with a positive, efficient work style
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical demands of the role
