Matern Staffing is hiring a Forklift Operator for a wall barrier engineering and manufacturing facility in Fredericksburg, VA. A successful Forklift Operator is a reliable professional who can transport goods efficiently and accurately in and out of the facility to meet business goals.
As a Forklift Operator, you’ll support the shipping and receiving departments by loading and unloading goods.
Salary:
- $18.00/hr
Schedule:
- 2nd shift 6:00 pm to 3 am + every other Saturday
What You’ll Do as Forklift Operator:
- Carefully and accurately loads and unloads items from trucks and containers
- Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments
- Communicates inventory discrepancies with supervisor
- Transports materials with forklift or hand truck
- Stacks materials in the warehouse
What You’ll Need as Forklift Operator:
- Forklift experience
- Strong attention to detail with great follow-through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactively approaches situations with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Active listener who collaborates effectively with teammates, always ready to step in to help00
- High school diploma or equivalent
