Data Entry Clerk

Matern Staffing is hiring an experienced Data Entry Clerk (job id #1790) at a marketing and advertising company in Fredericksburg, Va. The Data Entry Clerk will input data for marketing and advertising campaigns. Our client provides a casual work environment with a small office feeling.

The Data Entry Clerk inputs and processes information quickly to prepare data for marketing campaigns. You’ll be a trusting partner with customers as you deliver high-quality marketing services at a very fast-paced timeframe.

Salary:

$16/hr

Schedule:

8am-4pm, Monday thru Friday

What You’ll Do as a Data Entry Clerk:

• Quickly and accurately input alphanumeric data into databases, spreadsheets, etc
• Efficiently input name and address data into correct format
• Keeping track maintaining effective record keeping
• Verify source data against inputted data for accuracy
• Analyze and edit files to ensure accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience with data entry
• Expert computer data entry skills to help with quick and accurate typing and calculations
• Strong attention to detail with great follow-through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness 
• Excellent computer skills for navigating files and computer programs
• Positive self-starter with a proactive approach, excellent time management, and prioritization skills 
• Active listener who quickly picks up on new processes and skills
• Ability to work independently
