Matern Staffing is hiring an Aftermarket Regional Manager with a material handling company to cover the Southwest VA/WV region. As the Aftermarket Regional Manager, you’ll optimize your customer-focused skills and industry experience to ensure customers are happy and well-supported with services like maintenance, repairs, and replacement parts. You’ll be a trusting partner with customers and branch locations as you work together to make the equipment run smoothly and meet financial goals.
This is a hybrid position covering the areas of Roanoke & Chilhowie, VA and Clarksburg & St. Albans, WV. 25% travel is expected to effectively support the assigned region.
Salary:
- $120,000-$150,000/yr + bonus

Schedule:
- 8am-5pm, Monday thru Friday
What You’ll Do:
- Drives aftermarket success by setting/meeting financial goals, coordinating branch activities, and optimizing performance through Sales & Parts collaboration and financial analysis
- Manages parts gross margins, service efficiencies, aftermarket pricing, and cure processes where needed
- Manages work in process, open parts tickets, and open warranty tickets according to company guidelines
- Collaborates with Parts to ensure inventory levels manage parts inventory levels align with branch and company objectives
- Works with Service and Parts Managers to ensure internal work is performed to standard for make ready, PDI, used refurb, capitalized repairs on rentals and standard rental repairs
- Works with HR and Managers on recruiting, staffing, employee development, training plans, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for the region’s aftermarket team
- Builds strong relationships with regional OEM representatives to ensure accurate and efficient recalls, field campaigns and warranty policies
- Manages expenses and capital expenditures for parts and service departments
- Guides and supports managers in reducing or resolving Accounts Receivable (A/R)
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in b2b equipment sales, parts/service, and aftermarket processes
- Demonstrated ability to coach and lead to develop employees and meet operational goals
- Active listening skills, able to collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders to anticipate roadblocks, resolve issues, and implement solutions
- Strong ERP system experience is preferred
- Proactively approaches situations with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
